Self Drive Van Hire Insurance Requirements

Rental Range page or generated by our Online
Booking Quotation are
based on our standard insurance criteria, as follows:

The client must be aged between 25 and 70 and hold a full and clean
UK driving licence. If a new style driving licence, both parts must be presented. |

The client must have held the current license for a minimum of 2 years. |
|
|
In addition Fourways Vehicle Self Drive also requires a second form
of identification to prove the clients current home address. |
|
|
Fourways Vehicle Self Drive requires a £100 credit or debit card deposit. |
|
|
Fourways will insure the client during the rental period on an individual
basis with the Royal Sun Alliance. Premiums will therefore vary in accordance
with a driver's history. |
|
|
Rentals by students are subject to an insurance surcharge of an additional £5 per
day. This is automatically calculated when you book your van online. |
|
|
In the case of any damage to a vehicle there is an excess of £750.
This excess can be reduced to £500 for an additional £5 per
day. |

Fourways Vehicle Solutions Ltd will insure the customer during the hire period
through 'Royal and Sun Alliance' on an individual basis. Premiums will therefore
vary in accordance with a drivers history, endorsements/convictions and additional
driver charges. Please see accidents and conviction
codes for relevant charging.
